Ingredients:

Glaze:
¼ Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. Corn Syrup
1 Tbsp. Butter - Melted
¼ Cup Pecans


Crust:
1 9” Double Pie Crust


Filling:
2/3 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsp. Flour
½ Tsp. Cinnamon
4 Cups Apples – Sliced

1 Cups Whipping Cream (optional for garnish)



1. In a 9” pie plate, combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter. Arrange the pecans on top of this.

2. Place one crust over this mixture.

3. Mix together the apples, sugar, cinnamon and flour in a bowl and pour over the first crust. Top with the second crust.

4. Bake at 425 for 8 minutes and then reduce the temperature to 375 and bake another 30 minutes.

5. To serve, loosen the edge of the pie and invert it into a serving dish. Serve warm or cold with whipping cream.
