Popcorn Shrimp (193)

Yields: 4 Servings

Ingredients:

1 lb. Shrimp – Cut in half lengthwise
Stir-in:
½ Egg White
½ Tsp. Salt
1 ½ Tbsp. Oil
1 Cup Cornstarch
Sauce:
4 ½ Tbsp. Sugar
4 ½ Tbsp. Vinegar
¼ Cup Ketchup
½ Tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Water
½ Tsp. Cornstarch


1. Spread shrimp out in cookie sheet and dry shrimp in fridge for 2 hours.
2. Deep Fry in oil until golden.
3. Make sauce over stove and thicken with cornstarch and water. Pour over the hot shrimp.
