Peanut Brittle (183)

1 Cup Sugar
½ Cup Corn Syrup
½ Cup Water
½ Tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Butter
1 Cup Spanish Peanuts
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Tsp. Baking Soda

1. Combine and cook sugar, corn syrup, water, salt and butter.
2. When temp reaches 244 degrees add the peanuts and cook until 302 degrees.
3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and soda.
4. Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet. When cooling, stretch as thin as possible.
