Peanut Brittle (183)
Yields: 16 Servings
- 1 Cup Sugar
- ½ Cup Corn Syrup
- ½ Cup Water
- ½ Tsp. Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Butter
- 1 Cup Spanish Peanuts
- 1 Tsp. Vanilla
- 1 Tsp. Baking Soda
- 1. Combine and cook sugar, corn syrup, water, salt and butter.
- 2. When temp reaches 244 degrees add the peanuts and cook until 302 degrees.
- 3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and soda.
- 4. Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet. When cooling, stretch as thin as possible.
