Marcella's Peanut Butter Cookies
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 12 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup room temp butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups flour
1. Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and peanut butter mix well. Stir in flour and baking soda. Dad always used a electric mixer to do this...makes it easier than by hand.
2. Roll into balls about the size of a large walnut. Bigger if you like. Pinch down with a fork to about 1/2 inch...sprinkle with white sugar.
3. Bake at 375 about 8-10 minutes....don't let them get too brown...they will be like bricks!!! Tasty bricks but still bricks!!!
