Italian Seafood Gratin (139)

Yields: 4 Servings

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp. Butter
2 Cups Fresh Mushrooms – Sliced (6 oz.)
1 Cup Green Onions – Sliced
1 Tsp. Garlic – Minced
1 Packet White Sauce Mix (1 oz. yields 1 cup)
1 Cup Milk
12 oz. Crab Meat
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
¼ Tsp. Pepper


1. Melt Butter in large skillet and add mushrooms, green onions and garlic. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, until softened.

2. Stir in dry sauce mix and add milk. Stir until boiling.

3. Add crab meat and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

4. Stir in ¾ cup of cheese and pepper. Spoon into four 1 to 1 ½ cup backing dishes. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Broil for 1 minute until top is golden brown.
