German Chocolate Cake Filling (124)

1 Cup Evaporated Milk
1 Cup Sugar
3 Egg Yolks
½ Cup Butter
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1/3 Cup Coconut
1 Cup Pecans – Chopped

1. Combine the milk, egg yolks, butter and vanilla in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens (about 12 minutes).

2. Remove from the heat and stir in coconut and nuts. Let cool.
