¼ Tsp. Salt
1 Cup Sugar
½ Cup Shortening
2 Tbsp. Cocoa
2 Cups Flour
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Egg
1 Tsp. Soda

1. Mix the juice of the cherries with the buttermilk to get one cup.

2. Cream sugar, shortening and egg. Mix in cherry milk and the rest of the ingredients.

3. Bake in a 8x8” pan for 25 minutes at 350 degrees F.
